Buffalo girl Irene and I met for this first shooting at her house. I noticed an extensive collection of vinyl in the living room. Snoopy as I am, I asked her about. She replied to me, in her time off, she`s trying to be a Djane. Unfortunately, as the shooting took place on a Friday afternoon, she had already brought her decks to a local club, where she had a gig on Saturday evening. This would have been quite a cool set for a photo series with her in Buffalos and raver pants.
To begin with the shooting, I got out a shiny nylon raver pants from my shooting bag. In contrast to this big black shiny pants, I asked her to wear a bikini top only. Going through her own drawer, she got this nice little green shiny spandex bikini triangle top. To complete this techno girl outfit, we found the matching Buffalo shoes in her own wardrobe. Being a few years old at the time of the shooting, these shoes really had stories to tell.
